Biography

Jorge Monje, APRN-RNFA, is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) at the Orthopedic Center of Florida. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Prior to joining Orthopedic Center of Florida, Jorge worked in a hospital setting in the Naples area as a Registered Nurse (RN), medical assistant, and Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA). Jorge has more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, as well as a background in general surgery, working as the first surgical assistant in orthopedic surgery.

Jorge is originally from Bolivia, and he received his advanced practice registered nurse degree from Miami Regional University. He is certified by the American Board of Surgical Assistants. Jorge is also a foreign physician who specializes in general surgery.

Jorge is the father of two and enjoys having fun and sharing time with his family. He also enjoys working out, swimming, and running outdoors and follows a healthy lifestyle!
