Jaclyn Gorovoy Holt, DO
Biography
Jaclyn Holt, D.O. is a Fort Myers physiatrist with experience in treating patients who suffer from injuries or illnesses that affect the nerves, muscles, and bones, resulting in pain, weakness, or loss of function. Her focus is on designing comprehensive, patient-centered treatment plans to maximize function, mobility, and quality of life. Dr. Holt works with all of her patients to promote overall wellness primarily through therapeutic exercise, injections, nutrition, and/or medications. She personally performs Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) to evaluate for numbness, weakness, carpal tunnel, and neuropathy.
Dr. Holt was born and raised in Fort Myers. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Duke University, a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology at Tulane University, and completed her medical education at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, she completed a preliminary year in internal medicine at Largo Medical Center and then a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
