Biography

Dr. Courtney Bell is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee and hip replacement, including anterior total hip replacement, robotic joint replacement, total knee replacement, and revision knee and hip replacement surgery. She also specializes in musculoskeletal conditions affecting the hip and knee and has experience in operative and nonoperative care for acute injuries, including fractures. Dr. Bell and her team work hard to provide you with personalized care to optimize your outcome. She will be seeing patients at the Naples, Estero, and Fort Myers locations.

Dr. Bell completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science at Oregon State University’s Honors College. She also studied at the University of Sydney for a semester as part of a study abroad program. Dr. Bell completed both her medical school education and residency training at Oregon Health & Science University. Following her orthopedic surgical residency, Dr. Bell completed an adult reconstruction fellowship at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute.

Dr. Bell has published and presented on several topics related to total joint replacement. She is one of the only female joint replacement surgeons in Florida. In addition to surgeries, Dr. Bell gives lectures at national meetings, teaches courses on joint replacement, and designs joint replacement implants and technology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing tennis.
