I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over seven years. I attended Heritage Institute for my training, and continue to educate myself in the vast field of massage therapy. As a child, I had a tremendous passion for the performing arts; mainly ballet. A decade spend dancing gave me a great appreciation for kinesiology.
Along with my desire to learn human kinetics, was an equally strong interest in the medical field. Growing up, I had several relatives who practiced medicine and I always wanted to help. These interests led me to what I do today; loving my job as a massage therapist.
Physical hands-on methods of improving the health and function of the body have been around for a long time. The education I have received as a massage therapist has taught me the value of combining various modalities, and how it can affect a person on many levels. I hope that as the interest in massage therapy continues to grow, its benefits are experienced by more people.
One of the most significant relationships we have is with our own body. Unfortunately, this is also the relationship we devote the least attention to. I am eager to be a part in helping you regain that relationship, as well as keeping you active.
